To introduce Parker Knoll’s brand new Collection 150, we have to travel back 150 years to 1869 when Frederick Parker, founder of the business that would later become known as Parker Knoll, started to build the company’s solid reputation for handcrafting beautiful periodic furniture. It was over the course of the 19th and 20th Centuries that Parker Knoll’s would redefine seating in form and function, the 1920s and 30s being a key era from which the following ranges have taken inspiration.

Hoxton

Epitomising the 20s and 30s with its iconic design, the Hoxton celebrates straight lines and exquisite tailoring. Stylish turned legs, finished with brushed chrome and brass details, provide the platform for luxurious seat interiors that offer as much comfort as they do style; choose from a collection of original fabrics to create your own take on this periodic statement piece.

Wycombe

If you’re a fan of retro styles and the 20s and 30s Art Deco scene, the Wycombe sofa takes the shape of a modern Chesterfield design that features classic scroll arms and deep sumptuous seats. As well as a unique choice of fabrics, the Wycombe offers the option of Encore Fibre or Premium Foam seat interiors; both providing a luxurious feel with differing levels of firmness.

Shoreditch

Among the two accent chairs available from Collection 150, the Shoreditch has been designed to sit beautifully aside either the Wycombe or Hoxton suites. Its bold selection of fabrics will accent each suite and provide an injection of colour amid any setting, while the shape itself has been inspired by lounge chairs you would have found on board naval ships during the war.

Fitzroy

A stylish tub chair for the modern homeowner, the Fitzroy is another piece that will accent the Hoxton and Wycombe while providing oodles of style too. The chair offers the choice for coordinating fabrics that allow you to mix and match fabrics for an impactful piece – perfect for those of you looking to add style as well as substance to your home.
